Enalapril (Vasotec)

Enalapril is a member of the Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme (ACE) inhibitors that is used to treat high blood pressure (antihypertensives). Enalapril itself is a "pro-drug" being converted in vivo into the active agent, enalaprilat that actually suppresses ACE. Side effects include dizziness, skin rash, confusion, and irregular heartbeat.
